In Angel of Music, Meg is surprised to hear Christine sing so beautifully and asks her who her mysterious tutor is.
Christine confides that her tutor is the angel of music. She recalls that she used to dream about an angel. She tells Meg that her father used to tell her the angel would one day appear to protect her. Christine believes that’s the angel she feels all around her, especially when she sings. At this point, Christine doesn’t know her angel of music is the Phantom of the Opera.
